HEAR US OUT 2021 FILMS

Following the success of last year’s Hear Us Out programme, we’ve released two new digital performances celebrating LGBTQ+ people’s real-life stories. Watch them now below.

 

HEAR US OUT VERBATIM

 

 

A celebration of stories, age and community, this collection of verbatim theatre performances celebrates older LGBTQ+ people’s lives.

 

Last year, our participants were directed by Hear Us Out Artistic Director Dinos Aristidou to perform older LGBTQ+ people’s stories. This year, they’ve taken on the roles of both director and performer to bring to life older LGBTQ+ people’s real-life stories and experiences in this collection of digital performances.

HEAR OUR STORIES

 

 

Stories to tell, experiences to be shared, voices to be heard.

 

LGBTQ+ participants from across the South East came together over 2021’s lockdown to explore ways to tell their own story and share their own experiences. In collaboration with Hear Us Out Artistic Director Dinos Aristidou and each other, they created this collection of digital performances capturing LGBTQ+ voices, experiences and histories.

Our Hear Us Out Book Group with Collected Works has now finished. We are working with Collected Works and New Writing South to support the group to become independent and community-led. Keep an eye out for updates on that here.

HEAR US OUT BOOK GROUP: RADICAL RHIZOMES
